Naphtali, son of Israel (Jacob) - The Man and His House

Naphtali (Hebrew: נַפְתָּלִי, Modern Naftali Tiberian Nap̄tālî) is the sixth son of Jacob (latter named by God as Israel) with Bilhah. He is also the father of the Israelite Tribe of Naphtali and the Naphtalites.
The name Naphtali means "My struggle."

Genesis 30:7-8
7 And Bilhah Rachel's maid conceived again, and bare Jacob a second son. 8 And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.

The prophetic blessing of Jacob to Naphtali, prior to his death:

Genesis 49:1-2
1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. 2 Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.

Genesis 49:21
21 Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.

The Tribe of Naphtali

The Tribe of Naphtali (Hebrew: שֵׁבֶט נַפְתָּלִי, Modern Shevet Naftali Tiberian Šḗḇeṭ Nap̄tālî) is one of the Tribes of Israel.

Joshua 19:32-39
32 The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families. 33 And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan: 34 And then the coast turneth westward to Aznothtabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising. 35 And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth, 36 And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor, 37 And Kedesh, and Edrei, and Enhazor, 38 And Iron, and Migdalel, Horem, and Bethanath, and Bethshemesh; nineteen cities with their villages. 39 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.
